Casa Q is a residence that meets the standards of traditional Mallorcan housing, with a modern touch.
Commissioned by a family with one child, they sought a second home to escape the city on weekends and during holidays. The design is based on two rectangular volumes with pitched roofs, connected by a third, smaller rectangular volume with a flat roof. Each volume clearly defines its function: the first houses the daytime areas with the living-dining-kitchen space and the porch; the second contains the connecting space, laundry room, and guest toilet; and the third hosts two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom.
